All necessary equipment will be provided and is included in the price of the tour. Anyone who has the drive to challenge his/her self can join. It is just a 15 minute drive to Akaiwa, Otaru, the climbing area. On a point that overlooks the gorgeous blue ocean, are small and large reddish rock formations. There are routes that can be enjoyed by beginners to even some serious ones for experts here at one of Hokkaido's most famous climbing areas. First try climbing route that anyone can handle. The sight of Otaru's sea that is visible as you earnestly climb toward the top is something you will never forget. Not only will you enjoy climbing, but you will also be carefully taught how to use your equipment and work the ropes and belay, so there is no need to worry about wether you can join or not.
